This page gives help on identifying electronic components. We have lots of electronics components, many of which are unsorted.

When we find a component and need to identify it there are many subtleties and it doesn't help that these things are tiny!

Integrated Circuits (ICs)

Problem: seemingly standard ICs with similar-sounding names. What do the extra letters mean?

The Texas Instruments had this list of the terms of abbreviation:

  • ABT - Advanced BiCMOS Technology
