The cordless drills are available for Project & Infrastructure work in the Hackspace. There is a Storage rack for the drills and chargers in the workshop.

Heavy Combi Drills

2 Bosch GSB18V-LI Professional drills featuring:

Bits for used in the Impact Driver should be the longer type with a securing notch. The knurled ring surrounding the bit holder is pushed forwards to release the bits (they are inserted simply by pushing them into place).

Charging

The charger for the DeWalt Drill and Driver features battery temperature detection, and pauses charging if the battery pack is too warm or cold.

Note: Fully charging a 4Ah battery can take up to 2 hours. This is not because the chargers are slow, but because the batteries have a high capacity.
