MCP is the Media Computer in the Comfy Area of the space.

Designed to be a quick and easy way to show media on the projector, MCP is hooked up to the projector, the stereo system and the Internet, and only requires turning on before you can watch films, video tutorials, presentations and more.

It is currently running Fedora 26 and Open Office, and therefore may have problems with some Powerpoint presentations and streaming video websites. However, DVDs, Youtube videos, webpages, MPEG clips and AVI files all play and display perfectly.

MCP also currently contains a range of clips and full-length films that have been downloaded entirely legally and free of copyright from Archive.org's Moving Image Archive. This includes Coronet Educational Films, trailers and advertisements from drive-in theatres, well-known horror and scifi films from the 1950s/1960s, public health and hygiene films and episodes of the Computer Chronicles.

MCP is named after the Master Control Program in Tron.
