Scanning on Linux

Quorra

The Simple-Scan application is installed on Quorra, and will auto-detect the Rosey all-in-one if it is turned on before the application is started? Just put the page to be scanned in the flat bed scanner part of the machine, and hit the scan button in the application.

Setting up on Linux machines

To configure a new Linux machine to see the scanner, edit /etc/sane.d/net.conf, adding jarvis at the end of the file.

Scanning on Windows

Delete Windows, install Linux and then follow the instructions above.

3D Scanning

The space's Kinect can make three dimensional scans.
