Expectations
When I do a tour, I like to emphasise what is expected of members, not just what they have to gain by joining. Specifically, that they are joining a community not subscribing to a service - and that this means contributing to the community as well as serving their own interests.
I realise the tour is a recruitment opportunity so we don't want to put people off, but I think we need to start inculcate good behaviour from the get go, and the tour is a chance to guide new members before they even join. Mouse (talk) 18:09, 15 March 2017 (UTC)
