Meeting Notes

Actions from previous meeting:

  • Andrew:
    • Rough list of nuts, bolts and wood screws. Boxes of 200 available at Butlers Fasteners Ltd.
      • Nuts and machine screws: M3, M4, M5, M6 of 6mm, 12mm, 16mm, 20mm, 25mm, 30mm (and M3, M4, M5, M6 washers and normal and nylock nuts) Done (mostly)
    • Label maker tape - TZ1-651 (Black on Yellow, large 1 inch PT tape) for a P-Touch 2459 DX (taking tape type: TZ 6-24mm). Got black on white
    • Cable ties and reprap straps Not got any yet (Need to email Dominic)
  • Local Building Merchants: not visited yet
      • Wood Glue tub (PVA)
      • Wood Filler
      • Epoxy Resin Glue
      • Blow torch gas
    • Range:
      • Super Glue tubes (maybe Epoxy resin too) Probably to order online

Other things not done:

  • Sieve for straining coffee grounds - Tea strainer from Makro probably, approved.
  • Velcro - need to know what kind of types.
  • Needles and Bobbins for Toyota Sewing Machine and Overlocker. EL Grain company in Bulwell supplies these.
  • (Forgot from before) tape for the 3d printer, see previous months.

  • Sewing machine needles - see above
  • Paint brushes - got tons. Moved to better location - should not be in fumed cupboard, obviously hard to find.
  • Z-poxy or better epoxy glue - see above
  • Blu tack - we seem to be low, will purchase.
  • Orbital & mini sanding disks - Not got any, Russell will investigate
  • Masking tape - We have some (it keeps being left in the workshop!) but if we see some cheap we'll get some
  • Contact adhesive - Noted as glue
  • Olive oil - Russell will get this

Walk around

Studio

  • A4 white paper - down to 1 ream.
  • Pencils

Kitchen

  • Need a cupboard (likely wall mounted). If one is cheap at auction or Ikea that could be locked if needed.
  • May need some decent tea/coffee containers - like the "uncertaintea" - if we see any
  • Tea - low bag amount

Toilets

  • Blue roll - 8 left. Not urgent.
  • Kitchen roll - 15 rolls left. Not urgent but need more.

Workshop

  • Double checked the stuff from Butlers - all there, need to look to get another set to complete and fill gaps. Labelling also needs work.
  • Nothing else of note safety or tools wise
