Meeting Notes

Actions from previous meeting:

  • Nothing purchased this month due to being busy.
  • Andrew:
    • Cable ties and reprap straps (Need to email Dominic)
    • Masking tape
    • Blue tack
    • Blue sharpies - approved. Reference link
    • Blue painters tape for 3d Printer 55mm
    • A4 paper reams
    • Pencils
    • Glues:
    • Local Building Merchants:
      • Wood Filler
      • Blow torch gas
  • Russell's list - approved to look for/get:
    • Olive Oil (from cheap place)
    • Grinding/cutting discs
    • Blade connectors (electronics)
    • Tinted Visor (our current Arco one doesn't have a tinted one available).
    • Metal polishing wax - run out of some already
    • TIG welding gloves in various sizes (small/medium)
    • Orbital & mini sanding disks
  • Lionel
    • Multi coloured insulation tape - Lionel found a website.
    • Screws list
    • Glues - wood and otherwise - to investigate. Some will be got by Andrew, see above'

Other things not done:

  • Sieve for straining coffee grounds - Tea strainer from Makro probably, approved.
  • Velcro - need to know what kind of types.
  • Needles and Bobbins for Toyota Sewing Machine and Overlocker. EL Grain company in Bulwell supplies these. Also need the instructions for both machines again.
  • (Forgot from before) tape for the 3d printer, see previous months.
  • Cupboard for kitchen to store items (locked) if we happen to see one

Requests:

  • Email - wood glue - already noted.
  • M3 machine screws 12MM - specifically hex head. Not going to get right now, later in the year will review.
  • TY-wraps, repwrap - known
  • LM grease - approved
  • 91 ohm resistor (standard) - too specific
  • 5.6 ohm resistor (standard) - too specific
    • Matt recommends 1 an 4.7 multiples and will order some (£20 or so worth)

Us:

  • Bicycle repair kits

Walk around

Studio:

  • Permanent markers - black and blue
  • Pencils still
  • Biro pens

Kitchen:

  • Kitchen roll (none left)
  • Cocoa powder
  • Coffee (Nescafe original)
  • Tea (Tetleys)
  • Blackcurrent squash (but not orange)
  • Tomato ketchup
  • Olive oil

Cleaning/toilets:

  • Blue roll (5 left)
  • Kitchen roll as above
  • Toilet (last packet)

Workshop:

  • Machine screws - maybe 50mm and bigger for the larger ones
  • Wood screws - need to make a good list of what to get (match machine screws?) and purchase over summer
  • Bring up large gloves and dust masks (Russell will bring up)
  • Swafega is running low - replace with Fast Orange (which is much better since it dissolves and is natural pumice, not plastic beads)
  • Small plastic bags - re-sealable - approved
  • String - get some basic twine and review
