Posters
There are lots of great posters around the space. Our most prolific designer has been Gareth who has made some top tier designs.
They do not all need to be as good as that though! You're very welcome to put up posters around the space of your own design (regardless of quality).
You may want to make a poster to:
- Advertise an event happening at the Hackspace
- Advertise an event outside the Hackspace that might be relevant to members' interests
- Just to add a bit of colour to a blank canvas
- An important meme that more people should be aware of
- Highlight some Hackspace news, like upcoming Trustee elections or a pledge drive.
Posters can be printed in the space.
Maintaining posters
There is some value in having "out of date" posters. Often they're better than a blank wall. However, it is sometimes worth taking down older posters and refreshing them. They're prone to getting beaten up in the space.
This might be a good Hack the Space Days task.

Historic posters
The poster in the Electronics corridor, advertising a LAN party has been there for quite some time. Long enough to be a bit of a fixture. It's also advertising for the upcoming LAN party in 2030.
