To keep members and the space safe, there are some rules which all users of the space must abide by. The authoritative list of rules can be found on the dedicated Rules site. It's important for all members of our community (including guests, and those in our other spaces, like Discord and this wiki) to read and understand them.

This whole section has strong 'citation needed' vibes. This has been put together with a bit of wiki archeology, but maybe a more venerable member will have better recollection. Maybe even a few cross-wiki links to relevant pages. |
Before 15th May 2016, the Rules were presented across a number of wiki articles. In the spirit of an open Hackspace, with little leadership, the rules were editable. However, this comes with some obvious issues. So, throughout 2015 to the first half of 2016 a consultation to decide how to codify the rules.
You can still find these, and browse their changes.
