This list is not exhaustive.

Hmm. Maybe I own too many tools.

Things I have too much of

And will give away more than happily (you'd be doing me a favour, this is a bit much atm) I guess this is like a reverse wishlist?

  • Plywood, normally 18mm and normally anything short of a full board. Generally painted on one side. Sometimes 22mm. Also some thin ~5mm stuff
  • Other timber, sometimes. Feel free to give me a wishlist and I'll see what I can get
  • LED Tape (most commonly 24V RGBW but sometimes other fun stuff like pixel/addressable and what haveyou)
  • Fabric/clothing - various, I don't actively keep a stock of this, try to keep moving it to charity. But can keep a wishlist.
  • Most PC related cabling, video (Displayport, DVI - not HDMI sadly) and power (13A to IEC, extension leads, IEC distribution and IEC-IEC). Lots of USB 3.0 A-B for some reason.
  • PSUs. PC, weatherproof, wall wart, you name it, I've likely got it.
  • Filing cabinet drawer full of HDDs and RAM, unlikely to have anything good or modern.
  • VoIP phones
  • Mediocre but very usable HD 16:9 Monitors
  • Anything and everything related to 3rd gen thinkpads. A large office's worth of PSUs and docks to hand atm...
  • 3D Printers - yes, really! Currently have a lab's worth of Wanaho printers to give away... Will need some serious tinkering to be good machines. Definetely good for parts at the very least though.
  • Broken server PDUs. Might be easily repairable, also good for salvaging relays and CT clamps if you need them
  • Heavy duty castors. Including tri castors and "air rides" - castors with a pneumatic ram so they can be deployed and undeployed. Various other bits of pneumatic badassery also available...
  • Logitech USB Webcams
  • Various "computer vision" cameras

If you could use anything on this list, drop me a discord (My nickname is set as "Arona 'AJ' " ATM) or a text 07449192971. Don't be shy, no ask is too much, I'm running out of storage space!! I can deliver to the hackspace or potentially to somewhere else.

Things I can dispose of

Mainly from the hackspace, if it would help, but open to helping other people out too. I'm a registered waste carrier but I also do my best to reuse before recycle!

  • All scrap wood/cardboard etc, even glued or painted (our industrial woodstove eats it nicely.)
  • Anything metal
  • Electronics
