'''Engraving a wood chit from recently laurel tree clearance.'''
We recently had some handsome gentlemen cut away a large chunk of laurel in the garden. They took all the rubbish away with them, but I found this on the ground and thought it might be nice to laser something onto. My hope was a 'H' on the back and 'Shane' on the front. I completely messed up engraving! I definite set this to 'Fill' but probably the wrong material. I had to guess because there was no generic 'wood' material. I guess wrong! It's cut through almost the whole way.

Box for Fieldsnotes archive.
I got the plans for the box from MakerCase https://www.makercase.com/#/basicbox
I cut this 9mm poplar ply, on the "8mm plywood" setting from the material library. It worked fine. I didn't realise it was poplar to start with though, so probably should have checked for that in the library.
