Proposal: Document the areas and tools with a standard pattern of questions. This works for the space, areas of the space, and tools. I've added an example (with off the top my head text) for the space and the laser cutter. Using a pattern makes it clear everything is documented in a standard way and it's clear if documentation is missing and what it should look like. We could create a template with icons or similar to make this visual too.
I can then add processes, for example running an event in the comfy area or studio, or for putting the bins out.

Do something like:

What's the Name of this Space / Tool?

What is it OK to do with this Tool / Space?

So for example at the Hackspace level
