We have lots of electronics components, many of which are unsorted. These are my notes on identifying components.
When we find a component and need to identify it there are many subtleties and it doesn't help that these things are tiny!
Integrated Circuits (ICs)
Problem: I have a bunch of seemingly standard ICs with similar-sounding names. What do the extra letters mean?
On the Texas Instruments website I found a list of the terms they use: -
- ABT - Advanced BiCMOS Technology
- ABTE - Advanced BiCMOS Technology / Enhanced Transceiver Logic
- AC - Advanced CMOS Logic
- ACT - Advanced CMOS Logic
- AHC - Advanced High-Speed CMOS
- AHCT - Advanced High-Speed CMOS
