Rosey
Rosey is an A3 scanner, printer and copier in the Blue Room.
Scanning on Linux
Quorra
The Simple-Scan application is installed on Quorra, and will auto-detect the Rosey all-in-one if it is turned on before the application is started? Just put the page to be scanned in the flat bed scanner part of the machine, and hit the scan button in the application.
Setting up on Linux machines
To configure a new Linux machine to see the scanner, edit /etc/sane.d/net.conf, adding jarvis at the end of the file.
Scanning on Windows
Delete Windows, install Linux and then follow the instructions above.
3D Scanning
The space's Kinect can make three dimensional scans.
