British-made quality bandsaw for general wood cutting.
Blade details
88" x 1/2" x 4tpi skip flexy blades from Bandsaw Blades Direct
These blades are for wood cutting.
We also have a small stock of rather finer pitch blades that came with this tool, and have been re-welded to size. These are a useful standby, but should be used with care for resinous or plastic materials which might clog the teeth when cutting.
Replacing the blade.
Blade Tension
There is a blade tension indicator which should be adjusted to suit the width of the blade in use.
