Since Last Meeting Notes

  • Re-worked the serial code
    • Now have multiple heartbeat modes: waiting, receiving and halted
    • Haltedness is handled in EventBuffer class, which controls the heartbeat
    • EventBuffer enters HALT mode if it sees a HALT directed at ANY ID, similarly, unlocks HALTed unit when seeing a REST for any ID
    • Packet processing times out if only half a packet is delivered and then nothing happens for some time
  • Attached final part to supply segment (gauge). it reads 0.4 bar too high but otherwise works OK
  • Main control / DC supply box part built (face plates attached)
  • EM stop and buttons from main control box ordered

TODO

  • Mouse: Implement GPIO button handling
  • Mouse: Implement display to HDMI for testing until we get the proper display working
  • Mouse: Implement individual puff mode (need two buttons: select puffer, go)
  • Mouse: Calibrate WiiMotes (they're different)
  • Test with B grade sparkers (do the still ignite?)

At The Space

  • Implemented continuous mode in main firepong code

Saturday the 16th - big test day!

Blockers

  • Second large puffer awaiting Greg making the second tank adapter (Mouse messaged him just now to give news about the size of the second tank thread (which is compatible with the other tank).
