Team:Craft & Textiles

Scope

The Crafts team aims to provide an expansive selection of kit for those who are interested in attending the Hackspace and working on 'crafts' in some way. We currently consider 'crafts' to encompass:
- Visual Arts (drawing, painting, pastels, sketching, graphite, charcoal, oils, acrylics)
- Fabrics (sewing, stitching, dressmaking, batik, textiles, leather working, cross stitch)
- Knitting (crochet, lace making, knitting, yarns)
- Jewellery (buttons, stones, gems, beads, design, threads)
- Paper (paper craft, origami, folding, card making)

The Craft Team currently consists of two people, although we are happy to accept new members!

Starting from July, we are going to aim to have one theme each month - where we will hold at least one theme night a month to learn about the topic, inviting non members and members, and ideally gain more expertise.
