The Quiet Year is a map drawing and storytelling game. You define the struggles of a community living after the collapse of civilization, and attempt to build something good within their quiet year. Every decision and every action is set against a backdrop of dwindling time and rising concern.

Centuries past, Lady Ilse ascended to scion of house Liis by trading the archdevil Mammon what he wanted most; her immortal soul - and a diabolical betrothal. The triumph proved hollow, for every year on the eve of her fell covenant, she was beset by visions of Mammon and her foul promise. Seeking to save herself, she was buried alive, swaddled in the holy symbols of dozens of divergent faiths. This desperate ploy held Mammon at bay for centuries...but a devil can afford to wait a very long time.

One Shot Wonders - Role Playing Games Group

Explore new worlds, amazing adventures and meet strange new friends and foes in our friendly monthly Role Playing Games group.

Each month we will run a short adventure, playing across a range of game systems in different styles and genres.

Whether you are a complete beginner or a seasoned campaigner, these sessions are designed to introduce you to new games in a friendly and relaxed environment. If you have a game you would like to run, let us know! You can find out more about the group on our slack channel #one-shot-wonders
