Yep that is definitely a lot simpler and would work for the collets and milling bits. For the spanner + vernier, I saw a youtube video recently where someone made tool storage inserts by placing the tools onto a flat bed scanner, then scanning them in, tracing the outline and using a CNC machine to create a perfect shape pocket for the tool. --Danspencer101 (talk) 00:29, 4 April 2019 (UTC) | |||
:A bit of a hassle, but you can use a laser cutter lens that has a longer (but weaker) focal length - good for cutting thicker foam. https://twitter.com/tweetsnmirrors/status/1085919721139130368 Jon (talk) 21:07, 26 July 2019 (UTC) |

Method, other things
Some thoughts on tool storage. The simplest way to make a tool storer is to drill some holes in a block of wood - like you would for drill bits. Is it worth incorporating storage for collet spanner and clamping bits? As members are being ask to bring there own tool bits maybe this isn't needed? Jon (talk) 15:14, 29 March 2019 (UTC)
