Discounted licenses can be obtained by hackspace members by emailing the Laser team via laser@nottinghack.org.uk. This is useful for testing the software and preparing your files prior to using the laser cutter.

Activating a License and Configuring Lightburn

  1. Email the Laser Team and request a Lightburn license. The Laser Team will generate a discount code which you can use to buy the software
  2. Purchase a license for LightBurn Pro - Make sure you enter the discount code which will give you a 75% discount
    1. Wait for the license to arrive ⌛. It should come through by email.
    2. Install the software. The first time you open it you will be asked to enter the license information
    3. Enter your newly purchased license key
