Following on from last week's aluminium makercoin, I wanted to have a go at making a heavier Brass coin. This coin is a custom designed Geocaching trackable; it features a unique tracking code that allows it to be logged, discovered and tracked around the world. It is branded with the hackspace logo on one side and some text on the other that states: "Trackable at Geocaching.com"

This project is my second attempt at flip milling (2 sided milling) and is much better than my first attempt.

Design

The design of this coin was completed using 2 different programs. The first was Inkscape that I used to automatically trace the current Hackspace banner and save it as a DXF file.

The second program I used was Fusion 360, where all of the 3D work happened and I added in the text second side.
