What does it do

A 1500w router mounted in a lift system onto a fit for purpose router table including guides/rails/feather boards suitable many purposes.

Collet and bit information

Image on this page of router bits available.

There are more bits in the space but these are older and in poorer condition.

The router accepts both 1/2" and 1/4" bits with the collets stored in the case with the bits.

The set is an "Excel 1/2in Shank Router Cutter Bit 35 Piece Set" if you wish to lookup specifics on what is included.

Selection of 1/2" Router Bits

How to use it

The router table is mounted on a stand with lockable castors, it can be freely moved throughout the dusty area, it is secured to the stand.

When in use please connect the router to dust extraction, this is non negotiable.

A 3D printed mounting plate has been created to connect to the smaller dust extractor in between the two bandsaws to your right as you enter the dusty area. We have a large selection of router bits fit for many purposes, if we do not have a bit for your required purpose you may need to provide this.

Proper safety procedure is very important when using this device, when handling workpieces take the same precautions you would if using a table saw. A good rule of thumb, if it feels sketchy, its probably a bad idea. Please reach out on Discord to ask the team for ideas or help if struggling to properly plan a cut.
