Although we use the word 'Branding' here, the way we represent the Hackspace in Promotional_materials and online is very relaxed. We encourage everyone to modify the Hackspace Logo to fit their needs.
Nottingham Hackspace Logo
Officially our logo is just the standard H in a green circle that you see used on everything from Leaflets, Walls and T-shirts.
This logo above is an SVG, which is vectored and will scale to any size you need. Nearly all imaging programs will accept it, wherever possible please use this file.
The logo must always be represented in Green, with the exception of items printed as Black and White. The logo can also be used as an inverted version, where by the H itself and the outside is green, as per the Nottinghack Website
The font used for the H in the roundel is Bladi One Slab 4F Heavy. This is a commercial font available from myfonts for £25. The font used for the Nottingham Hackspace text next to the roundel is Oxygen, a free font available from Google Fonts.
If you need the Logo saving as another file type then just ask Jake Howe.
Hackspace Green
The official green colour is Liberty Green which is measured as the following -
CMYK (for print) C-72 M-0 Y-94 K-65
RGB (for screen) R-25 G-89 B-5 RGB Hex - #195905
RAL (for paint) 6002
There will always be a variation between printers and screens/device, so do not worry about it too much.
Hacked Logos
As we are a hackspace we encourage people to have a go at things themselves. Our logo is no exception. There are plenty of variations of the Hackspace Logo in use.
All we ask is that you try and keep the H and circle the same, and keep it the same green. Beyond that it is up to you to make it your own.
Below are the current 'Hacked Logos' that you can just grab and use.
Variation 1 - The slanted title logo
Variation 2 - Logo in the roundel
