Members are advised to do some self study and be aware of risks of FDM printing. In more serious cases, a burns gel kit is available in the Blue Room kitchenette. The next nearest burns kit is in the Kitchen on top of the microwave.

Electrical Shock due to damaged cabling or poor earthing.

Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) is performed according to a schedule. A visual inspection of the appliance should take place prior to use of a soldering iron.

Ventilation
|
We would recommend leaving the window open while printing, although PLA and PETG poses fairly minimal risk. We do not allow printing of ABS in the space.
