Rotary Subwoofer
|
A complete redesign of the Thigpen TRW-17. A variable-pitch fan will create sound by oscillating the blade angle at the desired frequency. This will permit the speaker to produce sub-audible frequencies at very high sound pressure levels compared to a conventional cone driver. Amplification will be via an existing Quad 44 monoblock valve amplifier.
