August 2014 purchase of new drills for the workshop

Some additional notes regarding usage have been added (1/9/2014)
- Heavy Combi Drills - 2 Bosch GSB18V-LI Professional drills featuring:
- 18V 4ampHour Lithium-Ion Coolpack battery
- Fan cooled motor
- 2 gearbox speeds, reversible.
- Motor speed control through the trigger.
- White LED work light.
- 13mm Auto lock chuck
- Electric brake
- All metal gearbox
- Hammer action (turned on and off with a ring separate from the driver torque-limit ring)

Fully charging a 4ampHour battery can take up to 2 hours. This is not because the chargers are slow, but because the batteries have a high capacity.

Bits for used in the Impact Driver should be the longer type with a securing notch. The knurled ring surrounding the bit holder is pushed forwards to release the bits (they are inserted simply by pushing them into place).
The charger for the DeWalt Drill and Driver features battery temperature detection, and pauses charging if the battery pack is too warm or cold.
