We would like to graph the space's power usage (for YEARS). We have four feeds coming into the space, and three of these are three phase.

  • 4 of Eastron SDM630MCT-MV - These are three phase power meters, which can also do single phase for the fourth unit, and we can get them for ~£40 each. So, £160 total.
  • 3 of Eaton EMBH306 MCB - The meters need their own three phase power for accurate measurement of reactive and active power. They are also around £40 each. £120 total.
  • 1 of Eaton EMBH106R30C RCBO - For the single phase install. ~£40
  • 4 of RS PRO Steel Wall Box, IP66, 250 mm x 250 mm x 150mm (189-6588) - To prevent it from being a safety hazard. £46.67 each so £186.68
  • 2 of RS PRO Steel Slotted DIN Rail, Top Hat Compatible, 500mm x 35mm x 7.5mm (467-406) - For mounting things. £10.94 total
  • Pack of 10 DIN Rail Mount Fuse Holder Terminal Blocks Screw Type Black UK5 - 2x £17.28
  • RS PRO Beige, 0.2 → 4mm², Screw Termination (Bag of 10 – 815-666) - 3x £8.65
  • RS PRO End Cover for Use with DIN Rail Terminal Blocks (Bag of 5 – 384-7076) - 2x £5.20
  • MEAN WELL HDR Switched Mode DIN Rail Power Supply, 85 → 264 V ac, 120 → 370V dc, 12V dc dc Output, 1.25A (145-7860). 4x £18.38
  • MCU, RS485 and Ethernet bits. Aaron will build and cover

Total for all parts £652.05

The Eastron power meters are fairly reputable (BizSpace use the same model!), and have RS485 output, so we can easily interface with them to provide statistics.

Who How Much Paid? Method Paid
Aaron Jackson £100
Daniel £30 maybe more
'RepRap' Matt £30
