This is a multi-drawer cabinet in the workshop where miscellaneous tools are stored.
Looks Like
Drawers
Currently, drawers are allocated to:
Pliers
Measuring (tapes, calipers, etc.)
Blades (spare blades for hacksaws and knives)
Spanners
Auger bits (drill deep holes in wood using a drill-brace and these)
Grinding discs for 115mm, 125mm and 200mm angle grinders
Pop riveter kits and rivets
Miscellaneous 'special' tools such as step drill, glass cutters
Wanted
At least one more of these would help us to organise tools in the workshop even more effectively. These cabinets are often available secondhand or at auction - the older the better (modern ones are fine for 'office use' but a bit feeble for storing workshop tools).
An alternative would be Ikea 'Helmer' cabinets. Flat-packed (so very thin sheetmetal) but can be assembled with additional reinforcement and fixings such as pop rivets additional to make storage suitable for heavier items. 6 100mm high drawers for £25, available in red, Yellow, Black and White.
