What does it do

A handheld random orbital sander which takes 150mm hook and loop fastening sanding discs. Used for removing material off projects and creating a desired level of surface finish.

How to use it

This is a handheld device and will be kept on the shelving at the rear wall of the dusty area. You will need to provide your own sanding media (150mm hook and loop attachment), there may be some on site but this is not guaranteed. The device is plugged into a standard UK wall outlet, on the top of the device forward of where your hand grips there is a dial to select a speed. When gripping the device you will feel a power switch which is of the "dead mans switch" type, it will only power whilst holding it. Although the device has low vibration please use both hands and securely affix workpieces.

Use dust extraction when sanding

Work can be carried out on the downdraft table using the provided dust bag or connect the shop vacuum to the dust outlet port.
