EMF Camp 2026/2026 01 28 Meeting

Not heard from EMF yet but we'll assume we can sort a village / workshop tent
Laminating Station - donation for a laminator pouch - Shane
Slushie Machine - mostly working according to James. Betty suggests edible glitter and people want black slushies.
Barbot? Need to ask if Jason is taking one
- Could do Slushie machine + Barbot for evening events at the workshop tent
Theme of EMF 2026 is Space
- The "Nottinghack by the Sea" perhaps changes to "Nottinghack in Space" with a similar by-the-sea set of things.
- Things: Strongman bell, photo op, gong? Tim Hunkin stuff. Check with Mike some of these ideas
Food - need to start thinking about cooking some evening meals, and taking fridge for cold things
- Ikea hob is available need to find in team storage
Morning Cafe - Betty wants to run with bring your own mug. Tea urn and stuff helps. May get a delivery of stuff to site each morning.

Infrastructure:

Kiosk to automate payments/donations - £400 ex. VAT. Ez Donate https://easydonate.uk/
- Would be useful generally for donations and event payments in the space and elsewhere so will be taken to members meeting. May be donation driven but could be viable to pay for itself anyway.
Need to inventory some bits in team storage and outside - like fridge. See what needs replacing.

Transport:

James' van
Phill's dad may take a van and have a bit of space
Some people heading down early - Thursday is the usual arrival day, but you can volunteer earlier.

Comms and stuff for next meeting:

Encourage attendance to discuss having people volunteer with the bigger village stuff (Nottinghack by the sea or in space) if it's a goer. Also start to list workshops that will be run.
- Hopefully tickets are nearly available so we know who is starting to go
Discuss the transport situation - start wiki table for who's going and who has space
