Please reserve your calendars for the 23rd of December, 2022 at 19:00 – We invite our members, and your guests, to attend our annual Festivus party, which has finally returned to tradition after a two year hiatus.
The evening will offer several exciting events, including, but not limited to,
- deployment of the Festivus pole – a bare aluminium pole, serving as the evening’s décor.
- Festivus dinner – bring food, share it with others and eat.
- the Airing of grievances – likely to offend so probably won’t happen.
- feats of strength – typically wrestling, but PowerPoint Karaoke will be available as an alternative.
What is PowerPoint Karaoke? Do not fear – there is no singing (unless you really want to). Simply prepare a slide deck about a topic you deem interesting, as if you were to give a lecture.
