Ali Groves
Hello, my name's Ali. I'm a self employed graphic designer with artistic tendencies. A friendly, approachable sort, I'd love to get more involved in helping Hackspace run. The opportunity to try new tools and equipment has really helped my creative projects take off, exploring new ways of making can be so inspiring. If possible, I'd like to work towards organising a small program of workshops so the different tools and resources feel accessible to everyone at the space, particularly those who feel just a little bit of initial guidance would help confidence grow and give the potential for projects, skillsets and creativity to develop beyond imagination. We're already a fab community of makers, lets keep making Hackspace even better, together.

James Adams
Hey! For those of you that don’t know who I am, my name is James and I have been at the hackspace a little while – during that time I have been keeping up with the snackspace and assist the networking and software team with a number of different issues. I am always interested in understanding what space is being used for and met some great people. I believe I will be a great asset to the team and more than happy to help anyone and make the space fit for purpose for everyones needs

Russell Houghton

I've been a Nottingham Hackspace member since 2012, and a Trustee since 2016. I also help organise Nottingham Green Festival

Trained as a Design Engineer I have always been keen in making, adapting and repairing all manner of things. My whole life I've tried to develop a multi-discipline workshop, and upon finding the Hackspace it was my dream come true, fitting in perfectly with my belief in sharing those skills and tools. It has been a joy to help the Hackspace grow and develop.

In my everyday life, I am a passionate advocate of the Hackerspace ethos, extolling the virtues and benefits of Nottingham Hackspace in particular, and am currently investigating funding options to improve our disability access.
