I made a white stick for my wife Rocio, who is blind.

A normal white stick is OK during the day as it is recognised as a symbol to show other people that the person is blind, but at night a simply reflective stick is not all that good, especially in a city where there is a lot of competition in the way of street lighting, car headlights reflective signs and street furniture. So the idea was to make her a cane that shone with it's own light.
