The lowdown: -
Collect together all the bits at the hackspace: -
- Various ATX PSUs with 20 and 24 pin plugs
- ATX sockets
- recover from motherboards
- 24 pin preferably
- Binding posts and banana leads
- Power resistors and other safe dummy loads to keep the PSU operating in spec
- Fuses
- Housing ideas - mounting on the PSU itself
- a small etched PCB to carry the socket and maybe the plugs
- switches - both mains and dc - various options
- labelling - each supply should have some easy to read info about max loads etc.
- variable DC outputs options
