Dusty area air filtration system

It is an air filter. The existing controller has been bypassed and now goes through a repurposed nh-tools board and subscribes to the Device Control MQTT Topic as with the name DustyAreaFilter. It is currently set up to come on and off with the lights in the area, or whenever the PM2.5 count seems high (using data from our Air Quality Monitoring). There is a small 12v Mean Well power supply mounted inside.

It is designed for the filtration of air borne wood dust only.

Replacing filters

During the changing or cleaning of the filters it is necessary to wear a mask (with filtration).

There are two filters that need to be changed. An outer filter and an inner filter. The inner filter can be blown out with air (to be done outside of building only!), or replaced. The filters should be replaced depending on the amount of usage and the environment. There is an arrow indicating the air flow direction on the filters. Make sure the filters are inserted facing the proper direction. See the manual for full details.
