The Press has a rectangular slab of metal whose height is adjustable with large turn screw. The screw can be manually tightened if extra pressure is needed. It might be useful for traditional book binding.

The Press is unheated, and hot objects should not be put in it as the metal will likely expand unevenly.

WARNING Crushing Force. Keep all fingers, jewelry, etc away from the jaws when making adjustments.

WARNING Heavy Object. Take handling precautions if you must move this tool. Consider getting someone to help you.

The plates of press are smooth rectangles about 37 × 25 cm. The jaws open up to 7cm deep.

Take care not to get any glue, ink or paint on the Press. Do not use superglue anywhere near it. You may wish to enclose your project in stout plain paper or plastic before pressing.

If you leave your project unattended, put a Do Not Hack project label on or near it.
