Pledge drives

a) Pillar Drill b) Wood Lathe

The latter seems to be an informal pledge drive. We now need to call in some of the monies pledged - are there some which were made a long time ago, in good faith, but are now uncollectible / unaffordable? Ear defenders

I would like to propose we get some more ear defenders. I bought the two test ones (which work nicely). I propose this is paid for out of central funds, or match central funds to pledged. Shouldn't be expensive: £12 for 4 pairs from Screwfix for example. Mouse 17:18, 6 November 2012 (EST)

I would also propose at least one decent face mask for use in the spray booth - the existing one seems to have snapped it's elastic. Obviously, considerations of personal hygiene may prompt some users to buy their own, but we should have at least one good, shareable one (£15 and upwards) available as well as disposibles (50p - £1 each) (also for MDF sawing and machining). Minimum membership?

Prompted by a member reducing their monthly contribution to a penny. A £5 minimum has been suggested before, but no action taken as it wasn't really necessary. Without naming people, I'd like to discuss this with some other members. --Davidhayward 17:26, 6 November 2012 (EST)
