The Hackspace has a huge collection of Power Supplies for various bits of I.T. equipment, games, mobile telephones, etc.

These are now divided into three plastic tubs in the workshop store, categorised as:

3V - 10V DC

12V - 24V DC

8 - 24V AC + mobile phone, and other 'proprietary' chargers (NOT necessarily DC)

When adding more to the collection, they should be taped up to remain usable / testable without removing tape around the cables.

For example: BadPSU.JPG Is BAD, while GoodPSUs.JPG are GOOD.

The label attached has voltage output and maximum current or VA-rating copied from the label (many are almost unreadable).

RED labels are for AC output power supplies, and BLACK for DC output supplies

Note that these are available for any use, but NONE have been tested - blatantly damaged items have been culled, but you need to satisfy yourself that the device is suitable and safe to use. Ask advice if in any doubt.
