EMF Camp 2026/2025-10-29 Meeting

Lots of people attending. Didn't get a list.

• Described the event:
  • What the village means (running one of the EMF tents with mostly our content) and what we did last time.
  • Attending (camping) and cost (£180 last time, will likely be more)
  • Volunteering at the event
• Stuff for this time:
  • Gareth - wants to do something visually interesting and some engagement in it
• Stuff to take to note:
  • Make sure we take the Hackspace passport stamp! Make a new one with laserized rubber! Steve might sort this.
  • Badge at the event is the same as last time. This might mean we can do things like robot control on the badge, or have a hexagon expansion for a soldering workshop.
    • Jason is designing an expansion for it
  • Hackspace Flag will be sorted
• What can you do?
  • Help run the tent:
    • Our workshops! If you've got a bigger idea and need some help post early on Discord.
    • Help other workshops
  • Help run our village:
    • Help setup (Thursday/Friday) and teardown (Sunday)
    • Food in evenings
  • Projects - art, things we do!
    • Anything big let everyone know if you need help / seed money!
• Getting there?
  • Shared transport may be available
  • Train station has a shuttle bus
  • James is offering his van for transport again for the bigger items (tents, slushie machine etc.)

Who is organising?

• Aaron will be point of contact to EMF to arrange our workshop village tent
• We'll sort some organisers for other aspects (workshops or food or whatever)
