Our Pride flag hangs on the wall of the Electronics Area. It was donated by Aaron after taking it to EMF Camp 2024, to replace an earlier flag donated by Jason in 2023 which went missing. As with all Hackspace items, obtain permission from the Trustees before removing.
The flag is based on the 2021 design by Valentino Vecchietti, but retains the traditional darker shade of the green stripe.
Why do we have a flag?
There are several reasons.
- Several members of the Electronics Team wanted it.
- It shows members, visitors and people on the tour that we are an inclusive and diverse community.
- It's colourful, looks nice and fills an empty space on the wall.
