The Roland Modela MDX-15 is a desktop CNC Miller/Router. It's operation is currently an unknown entity. We have it accepting code generated using Fusion 360 but it is not moving as we expect. More investigation is required.

It is hooked up to the Colosson PC using a USB to serial adapter.

You can send .prn files generated in Fusion 360 to the Modela using Roland Dropout. The software is on the Denford Lathe PC.

24/04/2022 - The MDX-15 is currently in storage on the shelves in the Blue room following the move of Denford Lathe PC upstairs.

21/05/2023 - We've moved next to the Denford CNC lathe in the CNC Area as we are trying to get it working again :)
