Metalworking

  • Planning to move welders down this weekend during hack the space day.
  • There are also plans to move a bandsaw.

Infrastructure

  • Shiny new metal nh-tool enclosure for the welders. Interference is painful.
  • Snackspace Heaters - new one in the Classroom.

Art

  • We forgot to mention this last meeting, but we have an art team now.

Networking

  • Two UPS have been ordered (and delivered) to reduce the impact of power cuts in the space. These will be installed downstairs.

Woodworking

  • New motor for the Kity Table Saw - hopefully fitted by now. Had a partial refund due to overquote, ended up being around £500.

Safety

  • Slight frustrations with BizSpace around fire alarm. Two false fire alarms, one had the fire brigade called out, who were unable to access the fire panel since it's locked behind a roller shutter when BizSpace are out of office.
  • We will be looking to restrict the kind of items which can be left in the solvents cabinets. A bit of a COSHH nightmare.
