The Boxford BGL1390 is the new main laser cutter the Hackspace owns (replacing the Silvertail A0). It requires both induction and booking / paying for use. See the Laser cutter page for usage instructions and for information on inductions and bookings.
As of 04/02/2024 this laser has been moved in place into the laser area and is awaiting setup and is offline.
The software to use it is Lightburn, a licence can be obtained by emailing the laser team. See Laser cutter for details.
