Scope
The software team is responsible for various tools and firmware that work together to run the space.
Currently, the software team look after:
- Hackspace Management System (HMS)
- Firmwares
- Gatekeeper
- Vending machine
- comfy area and blue room Matrix displays
- Door bell / temperature sensors
- Note acceptor for Laser / Snackspace payments
- Access controlled tools
- Instrumentation database and scripts
The software team is not responsible for the general upkeep of our servers or the services running on them, although there is significant overlap of members.
