Scope

The software team is responsible for various tools and firmware that work together to run the space.

Currently, the software team look after:

• Hackspace Management System (HMS)
• Firmwares
  • Gatekeeper
  • Vending machine
  • comfy area and blue room Matrix displays
  • Door bell / temperature sensors
  • Note acceptor for Laser / Snackspace payments
  • Access controlled tools
• Instrumentation database and scripts

The software team is not responsible for the general upkeep of our servers or the services running on them, although there is significant overlap of members.
