The Art Room (formerly known as the Classroom) is currently a work in progress, but is intended to be a space for painting and other artful activities. The eventual plan is to install a sink. The Art Team's plans for the room can be found at Art Room Todo.
History
In 2026 we decided to convert the Classroom into an Art Room. The room is now under the remit of the new Team: Art Team. Previously the function of the room was as follows:
"The Classroom is a place where workshops and talks can take place. It has less distractions than the Studio which can also be used for events. There are wall sockets making it suitable for laptops to be used."
At the end of 2019 there was a successful pledge drive to buy quality tables for the room.
Projector
The classroom projector is mounted in the ceiling and wired for VGA and HDMI at the front of the room No projector mounted anymore FreneticScribbler (talk) 13:45, 16 February 2026 (UTC)
